Since the quarantine, Wes and his friends were missing the song swaps and open mics that were a mainstay in the music scene in south Florida. In an effort to help keep Luna Star open during the pandemic, he came up with the idea of doing a Virtual open mic…The QuaranTUNE open mic show. With each artist contributing one song , then assembling a show and running it as a live event on facebook, The Luna Star Café has been able to stay open with all the generous donations. Wes is here to talk about the music scene in Florida and how you can help save a local business and maybe get involved creatively. www.1focusmedia.tv www.Folkweasels.com wes@1focusmedia.tv ig: filmshootr Fb: wesmalkin Luna Star Cafe Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LUNA-STAR-CAFE-325264733610 Donations: http://venmo.com/LunaStarCafe
