Guest: Jack Weatherford is an anthropologist and author of the best-selling book Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World. He has spent over 25 years exploring Mongolia and its history, and his writing on the Mongol Empire has transformed our understanding of its long legacy. Jack Weatherford is the retired DeWitt Wallace Chair of Anthropology at Macalester College in Minnesota, and he is the only foreigner ever inducted into the Order of Chinggis Khaan, Mongolia’s highest national honor. Awaken Heart of Humanity

Mitch Jezzerich's reporting spans throughout unexplored realms of the intelligentsia, from the readings of Gilgamesh to classical Greek History, from the lives of great American writers to largely unknown women who fought for civil rights. Most recently he is delving into environmental issues and spirituality. Mitch is able to conduct a warm yet rigorous and restrained interview, thereby helping break wide open the hearts of his listeners, such that we move beyond mere conventionally-written history or beyond even that of the Intellect to greater knowing, perceiving, intentionality and awareness.
