The Comeback Couch MVPs: Coming Back from Myths About Moving Your Body with Cam Iversen of Burn Boot Camp

We’re revisiting some of our all-time favorite episodes to wrap up 2024!  In this episode, Cam and Kaitlin talk about body image, exercise, and Cam reveals something crazy about her past work! Hint: Washington D.C.  Kaitlin gets really vulnerable about struggles she had in the past centered around eating and exercise, especially when she dreamed of being a college cheerleader.  This conversation gets down to the nitty gritty of what it means to love our bodies and treat them as the temples God created them to be.  More about Cam: Cameron Iversen is the Lead Trainer at Burn Bootcamp - Jones Valley in Huntsville, AL. She has been a Burn trainer for almost 5 years but started in the fitness industry 13 years ago at the YMCA where she taught a variety of group fitness classes. Cameron has always participated in sports and been in the gym but she did not make it a job until after she and her husband moved back to Alabama with a young family and she was looking to pursue something she could enjoy that was flexible. Now, her children are 16 and almost 14 (and she still needs her flexibility!)
