Brene 10 years later
This episode! The Gifts of Imperfection was my first and favorite by Brene. I cannot believe how relevant this info still is. I feel like this is the heart of what moms need to know on the deepest level. No prerequisites to our worthiness. Nothing can touch our self worth. Having to do the painful work -through shame first - is what I think keeps us from really truly believing that “I’m worthy of love and belonging.” Also the perfection story about expecting that our job is to keep our babies perfect. Oh how mamas need to accept that pain and struggle is part of the deal because it provides our kids the opportunities to cultivate hope and tenacity! Soooo good!!
My How-To Be A Human/Adulting
I didn’t grow up with the proper support for emotional development and resilience so “adulting” has been EXTREMELY difficult to say the least. I feel this podcast is a “how to” become a resilient, balanced human being. I love how practical Koren is in its applications. Thank you for this podcast! I am grateful.
What is Holding You Back w/ Sharon Letcher
Absolutely loved this episode, like do many others. This message came at just the right time! I have been a chronic worrier most of my life. I loved what Sharon had to say about worry as a prayer for what you don’t want. BOOM!! So powerful. Thank you for all the work you do each week to bring content to all is us out here. ❤️❤️
