The amount of information you get from this podcast is unreal! John and Nick break down each topic and hep you understand everything you need to know! Looking forward to getting to know them more in Mastermind this year!!

First off, John and Nick do an incredible job of elevating the wedding film industry and educating and training other filmmakers. However, within the past 1-2 years this podcast has taken a more brand-centered tone. It feels like nearly every single podcast episode is trying to sell you on something they sell, whether it be their courses, Mastermind group, etc. Which is fine. I know John and Nick are ultimately trying to point people toward these paid methods of education, which I’m sure are beneficial, but if you’re looking for a podcast that will inform and educate, listen to the first 150 episodes or so and then move on.

Their first year or two was definitely the best and most helpful.

When I first found this show, I loved it! They talked about what gear to use, how they like to approach the wedding day, wedding war stories, all of the stuff you’d want to hear about. Over the last few years John and Nick have focused each episode on growing your business, raising your prices, and mastering social media rather than actually shooting weddings. They are shooting less and less and now pushing their online courses more than anything. This is all fine and good, but I feel that they should change the title of the podcast to How to Sell Weddings because they no longer talk about shooting, editing, gear or anything you would want to know about wedding videography. I don’t hate this show, but I am just a little disappointed with the direction the show has taken. It seems like a lot of the episode topics seem to be about the same thing each week and I am on the fence about unsubscribing.

this show is littered with ads and unethical methods of getting your attention. reminds me of a late night informercial the way they force you to commit/pay/subscribe to them. poor business ethics.

This podcast has been a life source for me and my business! Finding mentors in the videography community is not the easiest and John and Nick provide solid gold in their episodes!! Highly recommend their podcast!

What you’re accomplishing is a lost art. I wish I would’ve known of your podcast before I got married a few years ago.

I’m thankful there are people who are succeeding in a field which I aspire to succeed in, who are patient and giving enough with their time to feed inspiration and support back into the industry. This podcast is great for new videographers and those who have been in the game for years and still trying to get it right, namely, me. Thanks John & Nick!
