Comic Lab is by far the best podcast about cartooning and the business of cartooning. Brad and Dave discuss topics like optimizing your Patreon page, branding, overcoming writer's block, managing social media, self-publishing, and more. Their advice and insights are transferable to many creative endeavors, so even if you're not a cartoonist, you'll find plenty to take away from the show. But what truly sets Comic Lab apart is Brad and Dave's chemistry and humor—they’re often laugh-out-loud funny. Even though I've been cartooning for nearly 30 years, I often come away from Comic Lab episodes having learned something new - or looking at a topic in a new way. I also get a lot of laughs and inspiration. Last year I became a Patreon supporter, and the Pro Tips episodes are just as helpful and hilarious as the regular show. Well worth the investment. Full of useful information presented by cartoonists with historical perspective and true creative and marketing experience. The best reason to subscribe is they’re good people having fun talking together and it shows. Two of my all time favorite podcasters.

Muuaagghh the French!! I discovered comics lab from a recommendation from a start up founders podcast and I’ve been hooked ever since, the friendship between Brad and Dave is infectious and delightful! I’m not a comics creator but I’m still learning a lot from you two and your journey, I’m currently catching up and just got to December 2020 and I’m listening to an episode a day (sometimes two) and maybe I’ll hear you read this review in like 200 days from now when I’m fully caught up 😂. Thanks for doing what you do this is probably my current favorite podcast!
