But not feeling old enough to pre-order your coffin? Me too! That's why I started the fabulous over 50 podcast. It's time for us to celebrate being at an age where we stop caring about what other people think and just live fabulously - whatever that means to each of us! I'm your host, Jen Hardy, and I'm going to take you on a journey to the fabulousness inside yourself. Because fabulous is a state of mind. We’re going to take on the tough issues too, like ageism, dealing with menopause (& after), and putting the ‘care’ back into healthcare. You know what I'm talking about!

    Hello Fabulous! Jen Hardy here. Wow, what a journey it's been! Let me take you back a bit to 2018—a time my doctors believed would be my final year on this beautiful planet. They told me I'd need a ventilator to breathe, basically predicting I'd be walking around with what felt like a giant backpack. Well, guess what? Here I am, breathing and walking on my own, almost hitting 2025! If that's not a miracle, I don't know what is. I figured it was high time I introduced myself properly to my new audience, fans, and friends.     Hello Fabulous! It’s Jen, back with another chat with Judge Boyd!  And did we cover a lot of ground in this chat - everything from the trials of parenting to the timeless joy of snapping Polaroid pictures! Judge Boyd had us laughing and nodding in agreement as she shared her love for gardening, future travel dreams, and a wish for singing abilities that sadly don't extend past the shower. (I can relate, there's a reason Shower Thoughts are only spoken)  But her love for reading and advocating for bringing back good old-fashioned kindness made love her even more. On a more profound note, Judge Boyd’s journey through the legal labyrinth was truly inspiring. She spoke candidly about her choice to attend Saint Mary's in San Antonio (despite a tempting offer from Pepperdine) and how her faith guided every pivotal life decision. Judge Boyd Texas is exactly the perfect courtroom for her.     Hello Fabulous! Jen here, and do I have a treat for you today! I just had an absolutely enlightening chat with the fabulous Julie Menanno. If you don’t already know her, she’s a relationship guru specializing in emotionally focused therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and the fine art of turning relationship chaos into secure love. Discover more at jenhardy.net Julie broke it down for us: Most of her couples—about 90%—fall into this “anxious-avoidant” tango. One partner’s basically a golden retriever, desperate for constant affection, while the other is a turtle, retreating into their shell to avoid all that emotional messiness. Sound familiar? Julie also tackled the big, scary jungle that is finding a good therapist. Spoiler alert: It’s like hunting for a unicorn. Emotionally focused therapy is where it’s at, but mastering it is no small feat. Luckily, Julie’s team operates as coaches and tackles issues across state lines (no magic carpet needed).
