I have these gifts, and I need to share them. If I don’t, I’m doing myself and the world a disservice. Because this is my light, and this is the way that I shine. And I really owe it to myself to be able to shine it out in a unique way.

Like many of our solopreneurs, Megan didn’t start her career knowing exactly where it would lead. With a background in gerontology (the study of aging), she eventually decided to tackle the problem of aging from the preventative side. Jumping into a career as a personal trainer, which she supplemented with yoga teacher training, Megan learned to use the principles and practices of yoga in everyday life—and how to help her clients do the same!

But even that wasn’t enough. After moving to Hawaii, Megan decided to funnel her skills, talents, and gifts into her own business, working exclusively for herself. Today, she does yoga for corporations, working closely with office workers who spend most of their time sitting—and who need the most help reversing the negative toll that a sedentary lifestyle has on the body. With different workshops, breathing exercises, and coaching sessions, Megan shares her skills and experience through in-person yoga in Maui.
