How To Stay Connected To The Present Moment's Freshness with Chris Cirak Grief & Happiness

    • Society & Culture

How often does your monkey mind jump uncontrollably from branch to branch? There's a way of limiting your monkey mind's "playground time," and it's simpler than you think.

In today's episode, I'm joined by the Speaker, Meditation Guide, and Author of "Be You: The Journey of Self Realization," Chris Cirak. Chris is a master at transforming sophisticated topics into accessible, meaningful, and inspiring experiences. He believes that when things happen that we didn't want to happen (and once we stop resisting and finally manage to go through the feelings those things brought up), we become a bigger, better, and deeper version of ourselves.

Throughout this episode, Chris shares his experiences and how he realized that everything we see is a reflection of who we are, how journaling helped him see the things he was hiding from himself, and how everything changed for him when he realized how simple and small is the present moment.
In addition, we talk about understanding grief and the feelings it brings as part of our self-defense mechanism, the importance of grounding ourselves, why we should be aware of and abandon our mental labeling tendencies, and much more.
Tune in and listen to episode 126 to learn how to be more in the present moment and less in our heads.
