Praying For Our Family Bonding During The Holidays (Galatians 5:23-24)

I love the holidays. From the decorations to the food to the music to the gifts... I love it!    But it's easy to get sidetracked by it all. It's easy to get trapped in seeking the "perfect" holiday moment. And when that happens, I can forget that in the special holiday events, the real priority is family relationships.   And sometimes, prioritizing relationships means leaving the fun event, letting the gravy burn on the stovetop, or setting down the camera (let's be honest... the phone) to go help family members reconcile. To apologize. To hug. To discipline. To do the hard things that are necessary for restoring family unity and achieving reconciliation.   We need God's help to do it! Join me today, friend, for a short prayer together. Let's lift up our families, our relationships, our reactions, and our holiday season to the Lord.   hugs & blessings, Jess   Grab an Advent & Christmas devotional for the whole family!
