    October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Did you know that 1 in 4 U.S. adults have a disability? That's about 61 million Americans. An estimated 10% of the US population has a non-apparent disability. Globally, over a billion people currently live with a disability.  Although 15% of people worldwide identify as disabled, disability still remains ignored and misunderstood by non-disabled people.
