When Jarrett proposed to Tana, they knew that they didn’t want a long engagement. They took advantage of the pandemic and eloped two months later. Ok, so it wasn’t a simple decision to make but one that they don’t regret. The wedding was gorgeous with just the two of them and their officiant. They shared the details of their day with us on this week’s episode. GO and listen!

A Marriage 9 Years in the Making

A Marriage 9 Years in the Making

Not everyone’s love story happens within 2-3 years. This was the case for Brittney and Tracey Todd. They met at a conference and through multiple first dates, a cross country relationship, and a lot of growth, they ended up with the most beautiful wedding you’d ever seen (it was actually in The Knot.) They told us about some of their ups and downs and what they keep between the two of them — because the totality of our relationships aren’t for public consumption. You’ll enjoy this one.

    The Girls By Our Side

    The Girls By Our Side

The people we ask to be in our bridal party are special. For the most part, we’ve established long relationships with them and we couldn’t think of anyone better to stand by our side as we transition into another stage in life. We talk to two former brides (or wives LOL) Arielle Alyssa Brown and Shayla Varona about their bridal parties. We discuss bridal party expectations and realities, bridal showers, bachelorette trips, and if we really felt like these ladies upheld their part of the responsibility. We got honest about a lot…go listen!

Best Wedding Podcast!!

Ashleigh and Toniah are two sweet and funny hosts who keep it real. Such a great wedding podcasts, helping circulate Black love. And there isn’t enough knowledge about the Black experience in the wedding industry, so they’re kindly sharing it with all of us. It’s a much needed lens! 🙏🏾

Definitely needed

My first episode was that episode where Cara talked about planning her wedding. Because of that, I went back to listen from episode 1. In the midst of catching up on older episodes, I got engaged. Talk about perfect timing. Anyway these girls drop major gems along with their guests and vendors. Please keep it coming!
