The future is full of epic “what ifs." What if we could read minds? What if a hostile attack took down our nation’s power grid? In every episode of Hyperthetical, host Kerry Bishé asks one of these questions. Then, we explore that question two ways - through speculative science fiction, and through insight from the world’s most brilliant scientists. The result is a genre-bending story woven with real facts and science, bringing together education and imagination. Time travel into a near-future where our biggest “what ifs” become “now whats?”

Episode 8 is a repeat!

Love the show but episode 8 is a repeat of the episode regarding life extension. I really would like to hear the one about alien communication. Please fix this!!
Great Concept but overall disappointing

She mixes very interesting ideas with philosophy and science. But she also adds a fictional story to the mix. And that’s the problem. The fictional stores are not good. I had to listen to a couple argue and yell at each other just to get to the interesting stuff. Either cut out the stories or make them good. The stories are very much geared towards girls who like soap operas. They need to be geared towards a more diverse audience including the average male. It’s not terrible. I gave it a 3

I absolutely loved this podcast and the fun scenario is that they discussed each episode. If you haven’t listened to it yet, you need to!!
