Their special guest today is queer parent and activist Robin Lowey, the creator of the book and short film series, Game Changers: Lesbians You Should Know About. Robin is the executive director of Lesbian Game Changers, who’s mission is to educate young adults by providing schools with valuable resource books and films that fill the gap in education about lesbian history and foster an atmosphere of LGBTQ+ equity, visibility, and inclusion. Robin was truly a pioneer in the world of gay families and chats openly about what it was like to make the decision to have a family and how it was raising her 2 boys in Northern California. She also talks about how she was inspired to create this book in order to tell the stories of so many women you might not know that had a huge impact on our community.
