IBM Object Storage, Google Cloud Run Workers, MCP servers on Lambda

IBM announces its Cloud Object Storage One Rate Plan, reinforcing an industry trend to lower object storage costs. AI is the impetus, and serverless is the beneficiary. Google announced Cloud Run Worker Pools to enable non-request serverless workloads. A fantastic blog post by an AWS Serverless hero describes his journey running MCP servers on Lambda.
