Don’t love the weight stigma and diet culture

Love the idea of this podcast, but the first episode I listened to involved a lot of weight stigma and diet culture. The conversation centered around “baby weight” at one point and implied that women in larger bodies don’t look as attractive as women in thinner bodies. It was also mentioned that dieting is okay and talked about specific diets that were done. I love how it was mentioned you have to live life despite not loving your body, but I don’t love the talk centered in weight stigma and promotion of diet culture. I feel like this gets talked about on Christian platforms a lot and sends the wrong message inadvertently. I encourage the hosts and listeners to look into the books Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size.
