The Bryn Consortium and Scoring Goals
Happy Birthday Torquay United - 125 years old this week! So now we have a named consortium and things are beginning to look a lot better at Torquay United with The Bryn Consortium setting up Scoring Goals Limited and talks obviously progressing with the administrators in the right direction.
But who are the Bryn Consortium, who is its lead Michael Westcott, and what does the formation of Scoring Goals Limited actually mean?
The Podcasters Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes will try to answer these questions and more in this latest edition of the longest-running Torquay United podcast in the world.
There is more to talk about too with an under-18s treble-double to celebrate and all the ups and downs in local football.
And all for free - what more could you want on a wet Thursday? Come on you Yellows.
And of course, the author of Endless Love was not Sebastian anyone! The novel about the balloon crash was actually called Enduring Love and it was by Ian McEwan. Glad to have cleared that up.

And Now We Wait
Hello again from Podcastland. This week Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes discuss what might be going on behind closed doors at Plainmoor - and why secrecy is a bad thing.
There is that brilliant last game of the season to mull over and Guy goes for a deep dive into players' social media accounts. Well, not that deep, but deep enough for men of their age.
And now it is the waiting and the wondering - and the nerves before an announcement that might be good, or might be bad. Interesting and worrying times for Gulls fans indeed...
Until next week, Come on You Yellows. Yellows Forever!

The Biggest Game Since 1987?
Was that the biggest game since 1987? It certainly felt like it. This week our podcasters are joined by special guest David Thomas, with Guy Henderson in the driving seat and Richard Hughes in the passenger seat of the hot mobile studio.
On Tuesday night Torquay beat Taunton 2-1 to end fears that the club could drop into the Southern League - and now, on Saturday, there will be a more relaxed atmosphere as the Gulls play the last game of what has been at times an horrific season, at Plainmoor.
The chaps talk about Taunton, where Torquay battled through 12 minutes of added time, and the current speculation about who is the administrators' unnamed preferred bidder. Could it be a brewer or could it be someone already at the club? Does the secrecy curtain need to be lifted before Saturday?
We also hear from interim manager Aaron Downes about that big win, and how all the uncertainty is making this season's end so different to any other. He also wants to finish the season with a win when the Gulls take on Havant & Waterlooville.
This time next week we could know a whole lot more - but for now, sit back and enjoy the sun, and the thoughts of three men in a really hot car in Marnham Road.

The Mystery Of The Preferred Bidder
Sit back, relax, crack open a can of Elvis Juice, and listen to the latest edition of the Torquay United Yellow Army Podcast with Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes.
We now know there is a preferred bidder, but who that is remains a mystery until they decide to out themselves. What we do know is the preferred bidders aren't Michael Westcott and TUST - so somebody completely new? We shall see. Rumours are brewing on social media though!
After Torquay's 2-1 win against Truro City at Gloucester on Monday, things look better at the bottom end of the National League South table - but there are still three games to go, and we hear from interim manager Aaron Downes, who wants to win all nine points from those three games.
This time next week, the end of the season will be one game away, and then it will be a summer of change for the club - with much, much more to discuss.

Bank Holiday Blues
Bank Holiday Blues. As the Podcasters wait for news about bids being accepted or not, and possible administration, they sit in the car and chew the Bank Holiday fat.
Two games and six goals conceded, but at least the one point won meant Torquay rose up the table one place, and went one point further clear of the relegation zone.
But with two big away games to start a run of four on the road on Saturday and Monday, there is much to discuss for Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes, as the rain fans down on Boots & Laces carpark.
With five games to go for the team to save their National League South skin - Come On You Yellows!

Heavy Rain and Big Developments
So now we know who the people behind at least one consortium trying to buy Torquay United are - and this week the Podcasters, Richard Hughes and Guy Henderson, talk to Nick Brodrick of TUST about how the supporters' trust is also involved in the bid.
It was a rainy old day in Torquay today and it was actually hailing on the car-studio windscreen as the talk got serious.
We also hear from interim manager Aaron Downes about that great win against Hampton & Richmond Borough and a busy Easter schedule that sees the Gulls going to Yeovil Town on Friday and then the visit of Weston-super-Mare on Monday.
It's all to play for with seven games to go - and just two at home. Happy Easter Gulls fans.
