The Annie Golden Interview “Orange Is The New Black”
The amazingly talented star of stage (Hair, Broadway Bounty Hunter, Into the Woods) and screen (Miami Vice, Cheers, Orange is the New Black), Annie Golden, blows our minds with her stories! Annie talks about how singing with her band, The Shirts at CBGB's in the 70s, led to her being discovered by Miloš Forman, who cast her in Hair. This launched a career on Broadway and a solo singing career which led to her having a song (“Hang Up the Phone”) featured on the Sixteen Candles soundtrack. From there, she pivoted to the small and big screens with roles in 80s classics like Baby Boom, Cheers, and Desperately Seeking Susan.
She has most recently been in Orange is the New Black as the lovable mute, Norma Romano and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Marge. She was also the special guest of Phish's most recent NYE performance at Madison Square Garden. We were thrilled to have her join us.
Purchase the Broadway Bounty Hunter Original Cast Recording starring Annie. Music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis ("Smash," Be More Chill), Book co-written with Lance Rubin (Denton Little’s Deathdate), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill):

Love love love this podcast
Absolutely love this podcast. Amazing cast reunions like Teen Wold Too and more. I have so many to catch up on and dont miss the new ones when they drop! Keep up the great work!
Simply Awesome
I was a casual listener until the Diane Franklin episode. That one cost me to buy two copies of her book (one for me, one for my sister, who shared my love for Better Off Dead growing up). They have absolutely booked me with the Three O’Clock High episode.
Awesome podcast
I love this podcast channel because it’s two guys with great guests talking about awesome 80’s movies.
