    How Hot Wheels Torched Matchbox

    How Hot Wheels Torched Matchbox

There are many rivals in cars, but few are firier (and tinier) than the battle between Hot Wheels and Matchbox. At one point, the two companies were in all out war for the coveted toy car market. Who were the players? How did Hot Wheels end up being the best-selling toy EVER? Today on Past Gas, we’re laying down some flimsy plastic track to explain exactly how Hot Wheels zipped past Matchbox.

How Detroit Muscle Flexed on the World

Great hosts and well researched topics. Love it

I sincerely enjoy listening. They seem to put a great deal of effort into their research. And I find them hilarious and endearing.

James pumphrey- only good when he’s scripted

Listening to James pumphrey struggle to read for an hour or more is not how I want to spend my time. Nolan is the only redeemable quality to this show. Also, in the Lee Iococca episode, every time James speaks it sounds like he has ice in his mouth, and that’s disgusting to be talking and have anything in your mouth on a recorded podcast. Get it together donut media.

Samwise__ ,

These guys are too political.

I loved this show. Nolan and James and Joe were all great, until the started adding in unnecessary politics into the show! It’s not on script and it’s honestly just annoying and ruins the show for me. I’ve listened to all 105 episodes, but I don’t think I will listen to anymore. The stories were great, but I don’t want to hear about their political opinions when I want to hear about cars! Best of luck in the future boys.
