Finding The Right Free Agency Fits For The San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks enter the offseason with something they have not had in a long time: a ton of cap space. How does Mike Grier approach the National Hockey League's Free Agency? Start by profiling five players who would make sense for the Sharks to try and sign this offseason as they look to insulate their young players and turn the team into a more respectable operation night in and night out. Then, look at Jake DeBrusk, who will command the largest contract of the group but provides the most well-rounded game. Start with Shayne Gostisbehere, who might be older but provides a lot of offensive value. Finally, finish with Nikita Zadorov, who is a very underrated transition player.

Time for Change! ,

The definitive Sharks podcast!

I’ve been listening to J.D. (the Tank Commander) for a while and he exudes two things when it comes to Sharks hockey: passion and knowledge. The thing that really sets his podcast apart is the deep dive he takes on individual players, especially prospects. I’ve learned a ton about Team Teal’s options as we approach the most important draft in team history.

Keep up the great work!

Great podcast

Love the analytics, it’s positive, which is helpful for a team who’s not very good. Keep up the great analytics and keep talking about the Cuba.

Best Sharks Podcast Out There

JD does a great job of breaking things down and explaining how the team got here, and where they could be going. Though I don’t always agree with him, I appreciate his through knowledge and background information, you can tell he does his research. WAY too many adds, but we all have to make a buck don’t we? Perfect length of episodes too! Good to listen to for a work out or on a lunch break. One of the few podcasts I have to listen to every day.
