Great show
Thanks for the entertainment. Keep up the good work boys I’m almost done with The shadow rising and have been listening along chapter by chapter the whole time. I’m glad I was late to the past I don’t have to wait week to week to read along
Too many stupid sexual jokes
I really enjoyed this podcast starting out as I am a first time reader, but it’s starting to become ridiculous at the amount of sexual jokes and the stupid “locker room humor” like we get it already, you think the taint word is funny. Ian is so obnoxious and it’s so much worse when he is drunk. I enjoy the chapter summaries, but the stupidity is seriously making me reconsider if I want to continue reading and listening to this podcast. Grow up already.
Great companion to the books.
Just started reading the Wheel of Time last spring. Currently on Book 6. What I realized is how much I forgot from the first five books and was too lazy to go back. Then an idea popped in my head. There are a ton of TV rewatch podcasts. Any chance of a book read along? Of course there is! I’m amused by Alan’s knowing “uh uh”, “sure”. (He’s the one whose actually read all the books.) I like Chris’s deep thoughts and Ian’s playfulness. It all works. My advice is to read one whole book, then start. It will help give perspective on current events. It’s a very complex world but these guys are able to simplify it in a fun way.
