We Really Like Each Other, hosted by three best friends, Alyssa Collins, Esther Yu, and Maya Hislop, and is a podcast about friendship, pop culture, and whatever other nonsense we come up with. Join Alyssa, Esther, and Maya as they reminisce, talk about things weird white people do around them, sometimes give advice, and talk about what they're watching or refusing to watch. And sometimes we will explore questions of earth-shattering importance like "Are They Hot?" "How Do I Stop Growing Girthy Greens?" and much more

Content Warning: In this episode your hosts talk about suicide and related issues.

We Really Like Each Other took a brief hiatus from recording to grieve the loss of black life in this country, to mourn the loss of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmad Aubrey, Tony McDade, and so many others. We also took this time away to pause and reflect more broadly on the state of race in America, the need to defund the police, get rid of disqualified immunity, and, ultimately, abolish the police and the prison industrial complex. We felt that it was best not to post an episode during these last few weeks to honor the uprisings and protect our own mental health. So this episode of We Really Like Each Other is one that we recorded almost a whole month ago all the way back in May (can you believe we made it through May?) on Sunday May 24th. We hope you enjoy more of our quarantine discussions. We talk about a tragedy that occurred on everyone's favorite Japanese reality show, Terrace House, and catch up on Insecure Season 4 Episode 6. And we give some advice! This episode is a strange time capsule that captures pre-uprising times. We'll be back to regular episodes like these in the coming weeks.

Lighthearted & Yet Deep ✨✨

Brilliant, Honest & Fun! A show by three women of color who are millennials - getting into pop culture examining shows like Insecure and talking about friendship. I appreciate the fun tone and practical advise. Love the depth they went into when talking about friendship especially as women of color.

Thoughtful Relationships Deserved A Pod

And now they have one!

If you are:

- a thoughtful friend
- aspire to be a thoughtful friend
- are transitioning or in a weird place in some/ all of your friendships due to COVI19 or the "quar"
- same as above but for your self-friendship ( yes this is a thing!)
- love the Golden Girls
- love accidental sexual innuendo / humor
- like being vulnerable and growing through it

then this podcast is perfect for you!

The 3 hosts delve into friendship and its ebbs flows and evolutions from grade school to grad school to life on the outside school but also dive into fun arts and entertainment shows/ topics not commonly known or discussed.

Definitely worth a listen regardless because its just a lot of fun and I have actually worked toward a stronger relationship with friends as a result of listening to this.
