Put Your Batibat Into It- Pineapple Pizza Podcast Feed Drop

Dummies, Check Out Pineapple Pizza Pod's info below.
We are joined by the punny and talented John and Patrick from The Dumb Found Dead podcast. They cooked up a special Filipino treat, the Batibat, aka the Bangungot, as this month's guest chefs. John whipped up the background of who the Bangungot is and what nightmare her presence brings. This sleep paralysis demon takes a particular liking to those who overindulge in alcohol and starchy foods (*cough* Patrick *cough*). Then Patrick shares some possible insight into why he too experiences sleep paralysis and a personal experience a friend had with the terrible being. Whether it's Batibat, the Kool-Aid Man, or an all-you-can-eat karma buffet, one thing is for sure, something terrifying is haunting our sleep.

Dummies, it’s been an honor entertaining you all for the past year, and I hope you enjoy and support this new show as much. Love you all, peace.

THIS EPISODE: What are Aswang? Join us as we discuss these freaky creatures. John is your narrator for this episode while Sean and Josh react. What are their theories? Can Josh pronounce Tagalog words? All that + more.

According to Wikipedia:" Aswang is an umbrella term for various shape-shifting evil creatures in Filipino folklore, such as vampires, ghouls, witches, viscera suckers, and werebeasts (usually dogs, cats, pigs). The Aswang is the subject of a wide variety of myths, stories, arts, and films, as it is well-known throughout the Philippines.[1] Spanish colonists noted that the Aswang was the most feared among the mythical creatures of the Philippines, even in the 16th century.[2] Although with no specific motive other than harming others, their behavior can be interpreted as an inversion of the traditional Filipino's values. The Aswang is especially popular in Visayas, southern parts of Luzon, and parts of Mindanao, including Capiz."

Dead punny!

You can immediately tell that John and Patrick have been friends for a loooong time, and they make you feel like you're part of the crew. I gotta be honest, I'm a little jealous of their pun game, especially John's (sorry, Patrick). Their banter is hilarious, their puns on point, and their stories are wild. These 2 never fail to entertain, and you may even pick up a few words in Tagalog. Funny... and educational? This is a must add to any comedy lover's playlist

So good!

Just found this podcast! So glad I did! Not only is it funny but wow, such interesting content! Keep it up:)

The Best

There is little more hilarious than hearing about Darwin Award recipients. John and Patrick do a great job of telling the stories of these people, always on a theme. They have fantastic chemistry together. They are, as they say, terrible people and their puns are awful. And I mean that in the best way possible. They're hilarious and fun to listen to. This podcast is definitely a favorite, and as soon as I catch up, they'll be on my weekly rotation to listen to. It's a must listen!
