    Todd Broussard

In this episode, we sit down with a man that I have known online for almost a decade and only we only just met in person at the Heart of Texas Leather Show in Waco in 2023.
His name is Todd Broussard and he is the owner/operator of T-Pop Leather Shop in Louisiana.
Todd is a rodeo cowboy, farrier and leather craftsman that has found his passion in building rodeo chaps and saddles.  His style and attention to detail are unique and spot on.

    Robert Beard

    Robert Beard

This episode of Lost Trade is a visit with one of the most well known custom stamping tool makers in the leather industry.
Robert Beard is known around the world for his completely hand crafted stamping tools.  We had the honor of sitting down with him and hearing just a glimpse of his amazing life and adventures through his leathercraft journey.
We did this interview before we went to the Rocky Mountain Leather Trade Show in Sheridan, WY.  For this reason, there is some talk during the interview of the "upcoming show" and obviously that has already occured.
I truly enjoyed this interview and the oppurtunity to visit with such an icon in our industry.

Pull up a chair & listen again & again & again

Lost Trade is a gem. Each episode features a sit-down-at-the-kitchen-table type interview. Listening is like pulling up a chair and sitting awhile to hear some amazing stories, have a good chuckle, and learn something you never knew before (but may have not known you were missing). Interviews are personal and in depth and lead the listener to feel like you met some new friends and gained valuable wisdom by the end of each episode. No matter what trade, art or business you practice, you’ll find something in each episode to help you grow. Plus, you’ll learn about some unique trades and history in the process that will inspire you and open your eyes to the many art forms of work. Great for listening to as you go about your day. Lost Trade is the companion you need during those lonely times as you practice your trade.

Wonderful/Infomative

Hey Don, I’ve followed you for a couple of years, mostly on YouTube. Your wealth of knowledge and “guy next door” vibe makes your show very enjoyable to listen to!

Since getting back into leather work (that was my FIRST job out of high school), now near retirement and during COVID I decided to learn the completely HAND-MADE style of leathercraft……. No more bell skivers or mechanical clickers or sewing or stitching machines!!! I learned to saddle stitch.

It’s been thanks to the generosity of makers like you and so many others that I, we have gained a level of skill that we can be proud of!

For that….. THANKS Don!! 👏🏻
