Pull up a chair while I talk about what’s next for Offbeat Market, what to do when you have too much dill, and whether or not I think you should serve meat/booze at your wedding when you partake in neither.

I’m back! After a much needed hiatus, I’m excited to be back in the kitchen, back at the farmers market, and back with my dear community! Cheers to celebrating almost an entire year of Yours In Butter, and this divine braised leek recipe. Pull up a chair while I gush about one of my favorite dishes, posole, the importance of identifying your Why before starting your cottage bakery (or anything, for that matter), the beauty in risk taking, and how I’m falling in love with being an organizer of a community maker’s market here in Denver.

Love this chance to listen to Ava share! Can’t wait for the next episode!

Tender & FULL O’Flavor

I was given Ava’s IG from my hairdresser when I got to CO in 2013 bc I was a coach and Ava was lit on her diet culture path. Obviously we became internet besties and although we never actually met IRL, she has always been inspiring to me for her reckless abandon into showing her vulnerability. Listening to her just makes me go back to those times I reached out for no particular reason and really add the love you can hear in her soul through her voice.
SWOOOOON!
The combo plate of comfort, tenderness, spice & delicacy is a dish best served with a crisp glass of “hurt your own feelings” and I am a Truckey STAN.
