A Podcast That Always Hits Home

As someone who grew up extremely close with my father, this episode resonated with me on a profound level. The guys did an exceptional job of crafting an episode that explored the complexities of father-daughter relationships without any hint of bias. Their ability to present multiple perspectives and honor diverse experiences was truly remarkable. It was evident that their intention was to foster understanding and empathy, rather than to push a specific agenda. I always enjoy the personal stories, insights, and thought-provoking discussions together. They always share anecdotes that are relatable and demonstrate a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges that come with growing up with a father figure.

What stuck out to me the most was how the hosts touched on the emotional aspects of these relationships. They explored the bond between fathers and daughters with sensitivity and genuineness that I know very well from my experience growing up with my father as my best friend. The episode not only highlighted the joy and love that can be found in these connections, but also acknowledged the struggles and conflicts that may arise along the way. Great job on bringing a balanced perspective! Probably my favorite episode over the last 5 years simply because It reminded me of the deep bond I share with my own father and it made this episode stand out among the plethora of other amazing episodes I’ve watched/listened to. I can listen to the guys all day! Can’t wait to see what this new rebrand rolls out.

The rebrand review (so far)

My intention is to never tear a black man down so even though I’m about to say my honest opinion, i still want you to win. That is why i still gave 5 stars. I’ve been listening to this podcast since Facebook live days. I have always enjoyed it up until now. I understand everything is still new so it’s room for improvement. I just don’t like the structure of this podcast anymore. Ever since the rebrand (Roses are dead) it kinda gives the vibes of every other podcast out. Example: “hot topics on celebs” i liked it when the podcast was kinda straight forward to what the topic actually was. The hot topics take is kinda too long (in my opinion), 20 minutes talking about celebrity gossip. When you didn’t have celebrity gossip on the show, that’s what made your podcast standout to me. I personally feel like it’s not enough time being spent on the actual topic versus the hot topics and the other side topics. I will still support because i understand this is all new and has room for improvement. My suggestion as a active listener is just to make it flow better. It’s kinda all over the place now. M
