The Inside Story of How Glen Taylor Sabotaged The Minnesota Timberwolves Sale

The Inside Story of How Glen Taylor Sabotaged The Minnesota Timberwolves Sale

With Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor saying the team is no longer for sale after incoming owners Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore missed a payment that would have given them majority control of the franchise, I decided to dig in. I’ve spent several weeks talking to sources across the NBA — executives, Timberwolves employees, sports bankers, lawyers, etc. — and I discovered a pattern of mistrust over the last few years. So, today’s episode breaks it all down, including Glen Taylor’s ownership tenure, a financial transformation within the franchise, the fracturing of relationships, secret contract negotiations and much more. Enjoy!

Gone Downhill Big Time

Pod has gone downhill massively recently.
Went from a single topic that was very in depth, to now trying to cover 3-5 topics an episode with just surface level stuff.
On top of that, we don't need a 3 minute intro summary of what you're talking about. You already have a pod title. Just get into it. We also don't need you to tell us "You're going to enjoy this" at the start of every single pod. If we don't enjoy it, we'll stop listening.
But the worst offender: the amount of ads has at least tripled recently. Terribly cut in, and 1/3 of the episode is ads now. Ridonkulous.
