Refreshing
Good solid work from these folks! It’s refreshing to listen to news & current events delivered from reporters who don’t hide their opinions.
I don’t always agree with them but I appreciate the openness.

A good idea, but inconsistent and hard to listen to
Born and raised Houstonian here. I gave this podcast a three week listen to try it out. I found it really inconsistent and hard to listen to at times, especially when hosts and guests are trying to sound like tik tok influencers rather than podcast show hosts. And a lot of time the information given is just plain wrong. There were some very informative episodes, such as ones on Freedman’s Town and real estate along the energy corridor, but those seem to be the exception. The show that made me unfollow was the one about the rodeo and the border. The guests clearly had no idea of rodeo history or how important it is in Houston but wanted to bash it anyway. And then the show turned into a hit piece on Republicans and misinformation on what’s going on at the border. I gave it a try and now I’m giving it a pass.
