They also reveal how foreign spy satellites played a part in getting the IRA to destroy their weapons. Sam McBride joins Ciarán Dunbar with his findings from the Kew Files.

East Belfast Exile ,

Worth a listen but cannot seem to shake inherent bias

Problematic podcast with the main presenters exhibiting significant bias. Any journalist that chooses to not use factual information and instead introduce opinion as fact is never going to be able to report objectively on Northern Ireland matters. Inherent to the reporting Allison Morris offers up is a tolerance for the actions of the Provisonal IRA. Some might say admiration but I’ll not go that far. When a reporter uses the terms like “occupying Crown forces” or “the north” it sets a tone, it reveals a bias and reduces credibility of the subsequent information shared……I’ve switched off early because of it. Please just use facts. Objectivity is a critical prerequisite for reporters. While every effort is made to ensure the mask does not slip and to appear objective, sadly the Bel Tel’s crime reporter is not there. Like many in Northern Ireland, claiming objectivity is a lot easier than actually demonstrating the behavior.
