David & Stu... Unhinged!

“David & Stu . . . Unhinged!” offers a unique glimpse into the world's most pressing (and most trivial) issues through the eyes of two of Greenwich Village’s jaded residents, who are usually pissed off about something. From allowing people to legally sh** on our sidewalks to "discrimination" against fat people, David Simonetti, a writer and attorney, and Stu Richel, a critically acclaimed actor, screenwriter, and Vietnam War vet, offer an acerbic yet civilized perspective on politics and life in New York City. Occasionally veering into the abyss of rage, like Stu's unbridled contempt for Jane Fonda and David's rage about those who ask for ice cream samples, the duo from two different generations will enchant you with their common-sense reactions speckled with off-the-rails humor, anger, and dismay.

40: Tariff Terrorism, Pardons for Fraudsters, Handy Andy's Reincarnation, & More Fare Beating Outrages.

Welcome to episode forty of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following: 1) Trump's reckless imposition of tariffs on every country, including an uninhabited Island, and the architect behind this, Peter Navarro, who has a PhD in Economics from Harvard yet is as dumb as a pile of bricks, to quote Trump's favorite parasite, Elon Musk. 2) More outrageous grants of pardons have been issued to disgusting fraudsters Trevor Milton, Jason Galanis & Devin Archer. It seems all someone has to do is donate money to Trump's campaigns or just kiss his ass, and he will give them a get-out-of-jail-free card even if they murdered his mother. 3) The NYC Mayor's race is shaping up with Handy Andy Cuomo making a huge comeback, while the failed Eric Adams plans to run as an independent since he has become a pariah in the Democrat Party after making a deal with Trump in exchange for having his corruption charges being dropped. Funny enough, even though Cuomo is a nursing home serial killer, he seems best suited to be Mayor when compared to the other vermin that are running. 4) The fare-beating crisis on NYC transit continues unabated, which has coaxed the MTA to conduct a study to understand the psychology behind this. Instead of wasting money on a study, we suggest that these deadbeats should be fined and prosecuted, which hasn't been done since the progressives stopped enforcing the laws against fare beaters. 39: "A Tragic Car Accident, Elon Gets DOGEd, Casino Royale, & A Call for National Service

Welcome to episode thirty-nine of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following: 1) A reckless driver with 786 traffic violations tragically killed a mother and her two daughters in Brooklyn in a car accident. The driver's mental health issues and driving record were never addressed by NYC officials, which once again has resulted in death. NYC zealously prosecutes law-abiding citizens who violate the newly enacted composting rules while letting dangerous people loose on the streets, which is further testament to their incompetence. 2) Elon Musk has become a highly unpopular and polarizing figure, and despite spending $21 million in a Wisconsin Supreme Court race, the far-left candidate won substantially in a state Trump originally won. Republicans in Congress and internal White House staff have grown to loathe him and the damage he is doing to the federal government. Finally, Trump has announced he will soon be going back to his businesses, which are heavily financed by the Chinese Communist Party. We don't wish him well. 3) Casino developers in NYC have to go through a legal leviathan to obtain licenses, so they propose generous community service initiatives to impress the New York bureaucrats. Regardless, allowing legalized gambling in our communities is a further reflection of New York's decline under the failed Democrat leadership. 4) In light of the crisis America's youth is facing and the spiritual decline that pervades throughout our nation, we discuss the merits of a national service program as a means to re-engage our youth. Unfortunately, we don't expect the current president to take on this initiative, as he is too busy allowing a Nazi-saluting billionaire to run rampant in our government.
