The unsung hero of the Vandal Wars is not Belisarius, but an obscure officer named Stotsas. While Rome marched its armies to their doom, he rose to become king of the Africans, raising a multi-ethnic rebellion against a great empire.

Rome is dead, long live Rome. The post-apocolyptic ruins of the empire are inhabited by barbarians. But somehow, Rome did not completely die. A small cabal of Monks keeps it alive in the pages of books hoarded in a vault. Like its saviour, it shall rise again from the grave. As it claws its way back from obscurity, an ambitious new leader has an eye on control of Carthage. So brace yourself for war. In all its glory.

A hundred years since the Fall of Rome, but Rome is far from dead. The Dark Ages may be dark in Europe, but in Africa, Roman Catholics are about to rise up against the Arian Barbarians who have inherited the empire. The delicate peace of Vandal Africa is about to be broken forever by a small gang of hired goons, courtesy of Rome`s long lost cousin to the east.

The Fall of Rome and the Rise of the Barbarians comes down to this. Atilla, king of the Huns,is hell bent on settling accounts. He is demanding the hand of a Roman princess, and will not take no for an answer. The court at Rome has no place for an enraged psycopathic Hunnish maniac, so Aetius is willing to do anything, including betraying his old and dear friend, to put an end to this. But when the dust settles from the greatest showdown in the history of history, a surprising victor emerges. And long-awaited revenge is served, as we witness the fall of the Great Empire of Rome.

Tension is high in the court of Valentinian. In a surprise attack, the Vandals have taken Carthage, and an enraged Attila the Hun is taking Gaul. As Rome sees its empire slipping into the hands of ruthless barbarians, the Great Boy Leader must take control of his house. But it is up to Aetius to keep a cool head. Now that diplomacy has failed, only blood will keep them alive. Blood, and lots of it.

Rome struggles to maintain its glory as Huns and Vandals threaten its borders. But they are not dead yet. Young Aetius, the last of Rome's great generals is doing his best to keep it all together. He and his childhood friend Atilla, a Hunnish prince, have a deal going. The delicate peace will not last long, though. These new barbarians are bigger and crazier than anything Rome has seen. While the emperor is looking to save the past, barbarians are looking to the future.
