Empowering and Hopeful

The interview with Jake Pratt was so wonderful. My first thought when I found out my baby would have Down syndrome was, “I will never get to take my child to college! He will never be independent, he will never drive!” And that is NOT TRUE! So grateful for Jake’s example.

This podcast makes me smile

Stephen and Lori really put themselves out there in these wonderful, wide-ranging, and honest podcasts. As a dad of a young man with DS, it’s nice to tune in and listen to calm, thoughtful and deeply kind-hearted people covering personal subjects I don’t get around to (or avoid) thinking about. They make me think and smile, and that’s a gift. Thanks, Team Saux!
