In a very personal interview, Dr Mark Rosenberg, who has been at the centre of injury prevention for more than a generation, tells Dr Rod McClure, about his path in a career that was not always understood. "We were given an old bathroom in the sub-sub-basement of a minor building and a lot of people in public health thought that's just where we belonged." Mark L. Rosenberg was president and CEO of the Task Force for Global Health, and has also worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for 20 years, where he was instrumental in founding the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC).
