You are getting sleepy, very sleepy......when you think of hypnosis, doesn't that image just pop into your mind? It does for me, someone with a pocket watch swinging in front of your face.
However, I know that you, my listeners, are well aware that Hypnosis is so much more. In fact in this episode with Hypnotherapist Namrata Dagia, we learn the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I was not aware !
Namrata began her career as a trained Psychologist in India and decided to take a little course in hypnotherapy because it interested her. She loved it and totally saw the value it added for her clients. Fast forward a decade or so, and now Namrata not only works with clients using hypnotherapy and psychology, she also trains others in the modality.
In this episode we learn why people are not always willing to have a hypnotherapy session - fear of the unknown it turns out, and we learn how valuable it is to explore our subconscious. All our solutions to problems such as anxiety, insomnia or those habits we want to get rid of, are inside of us. Namrata helps us release and change our habits through hypnosis.
