    We often associate slavery with physical bondage, where individuals are held against their will and stripped of their autonomy. There is another form of slavery that transcends physical chains, and that is the slavery of the mind.

    On the surface, we may believe we are free individuals, making choices and shaping our lives. However, when we take a closer look, we realize that our freedom might be an illusion, and we are bound by numerous unseen forces.

    It is then that the quote by Francis of Asisi might come handy:

    Remember that, when you leave this earth,
    you can take, with you, nothing that you have received -
    only what you have given:
    a full heart, enriched by honest service,
    love, sacrifice and courage.
