God Is For Us – Trillia Newbell
Proverbs 16:9 tells us that the mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. Our plan was for another guest during the 7:00am hour. That guest fell ill overnight and was not able to join us. Despite the change of plan, we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose! Our good friend, Moody author Trillia Newbell, unknowingly connected to our studio on the wrong date. But God knew all along that this morning's focus needed to be on Romans 8. One of the most studied and beloved chapters of the Bible—God is For Us cements, not only for kids, but adults also, in God's most precious, life-changing promises, that we can all discover what it means that we have a good Father.

Taboo – Mike Novotny
Hot-button issues dominating our culture can make speaking out feel taboo. Hiding from hard conversations won’t work. We need to know what God actually says about these issues, and by looking to Scripture, we can find the answers. Pastor and author Mike Novotny stopped by to remind us that not talking is not helping! It’s time for believers to step gracefully into the Taboo and share God’s truth with a world in need!

On Whales, Menopause, and Thanks to God – Rebekah Matt
Blogger Rebekah Matt writes this: “Have you ever thought to yourself, 'I wonder how many mammals go through menopause?' I certainly hadn’t—up until last week.” Okay. Inquiring minds want to know. And there’s a point to this question, too.

I listen via podcast which means I get the shortened version of Kurt and Kate’s show, but either way it’s great to hear this sort of wholesome content during my morning.
