We back with another season of the Imposter Free Podcast and this season we are breaking up with a whole lot! In our second episode of the season, we touch on our personal signs signifying change as well as how we prepare for change we see coming in our own lives. “As we engage in these changes that we have the honour of choosing voluntarily, what are the changes on a micro level that we didn’t realise are connected with the big change? What are the values that are coming up now?” Vanetta “What are the core values when we are making changes and how can we be true to those?” Vanetta “One of the things I am very clear about that I do whenever a shift is happening is expressing gratitude to the place where I am at currently” Natisha “When I say mindset I mean changing my mind, so that the new becomes the norm” Natisha Episode Sections 0:00       Welcome 00:30     Natisha’s sign of change 03:30     Natisha’s change updates 07:20     Vanetta’s change updates 09:00     Maintaining our values and standards in change 15:20     How we prepare for change - the practice of transition Resources Rites of Passage Book https://tulsaremote.com/ Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. S2 Episode 1: The Break Up - Change is here!

New Season, who dis? We back with another season of the Imposter Free Podcast and this season we are breaking up with a whole lot! In our first episode of the season, we discuss the many changes both of us are facing and how our coping strategies to manage change help us in making the break up with what was much easier. “Change is here, and we are just gonna have to learn to ride the wave” Vanetta “I’m kinda breaking up with coaching - in the way that I have always done it” Natisha “I want to infuse some fun into the work that I’m doing, and some joy and some purpose” Natisha “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” Maya Angelou “Change always reflects loss in some way - but change that we choose has an element of ‘we’re moving towards what we want, instead of being forced into what we don’t want” Vanetta “The point of life is not to figure life out, its to figure out how to adapt, no matter what comes your way” Natisha “We can’t minimise the impact of the strengths we already have in the situations that we are facing” Vanetta Episode Sections 0:00     Welcome 00:45    Our Season Focus 01:07    Vanetta’s changes 04:43    Natisha’s changes 12:06    The losses and gains of change 18:30    Our change coping strategies Resources Anchoring/Grounding strategies Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. Episode 7: The Key skills of a coachpreneur - Part 4

In Episode 7 of the Imposter Free Podcast, we continue Part 4 of our  conversation about the 4 key skills of a coachpreneur and how Imposter Syndrome and Imposter feelings feed into them. In this episode, we talk about the skill of thought leadership. “Thought leaders and influencers - I think they overlap” Natisha “Your thought leadership is an extension of your personal brand… it’s making a mark in your industry by identifying your unique spin on an idea that is already out there. So you’re bridging the gap between ideas that haven’t been bridged before in a way that places what you value on the forefront of that” Natisha “Understanding the story that is being told now and identifying the narrative missing and as a thought leader stepping into that space and saying ‘this is another narrative’” Vanetta “ I’ve heard it said ‘Don’t compare your chapter one to somebody else’s chapter twenty” Natisha “It takes courage to continue moving forward. To have conversations with people you don’t know. To offer yourself to people who are doing similar things to you” Natisha “Where is there silence where there shouldn’t be silence?” Vanetta “Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage” Maya Angelou Episode Sections 0:00      Welcome & Previous Episode Recap 0:55       Introduction to Key Skill 4: Thought Leadership 01:30     Definition of Thought Leadership 05:15     Thought Leadership and Personal Branding 07:15     Thought Leadership and missing narratives 10:00     Vanetta’s thought leadership journey 12:00     Natisha’s thought leadership journey 16:50     Our most important thought leadership skills 22:00     The Impact of ‘The Spreadsheet’ 31:00     The Imposter Types that show up most Resources Learn more about Vanetta’s Impostor Exotypes at her workshop Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. In Episode 5 of the Imposter-Free Podcast, we continue Part 2 of our  conversation about the 4 key skills of a coachpreneur and how Imposter Syndrome and Imposter feelings feed into them. In this episode, we talk about the skill of developing a personal brand. “I remember it being said ‘Your brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room.’ and I’m like ‘oh, it’s your reputation! Why don’t people just say it’s your reputation?’” Natisha “What is the brand I actually want to embody… it really starts off with your core values. What do you want to be known for” Vanetta “What do they say? ‘Service is the rent we pay for living’” Natisha “ I believe the most important aspect of building your personal brand is figuring out what your purpose is and then literally aligning everything that you do.. like a pitbull grab onto that and don’t let it go” Natisha “What is it that is so important to you that you want to be known for it? Then be consistent with that” Vanetta “You have helped remind me that it’s okay to walk into freedom and be cute… I don’t have to run full speed, I’m not late. I’m on my own time.” Natisha “I can’t waste life, trying to rush” Vanetta Episode Sections 0:00      Welcome & Previous Episode Recap 0:30      Introduction to Key Skill 2: Building a Personal Brand definitions of this skill 02:20    Branding and Legacy 02:40    Vanetta’s struggle with  and eventual acceptance of personal branding 04:40    Natisha’s experiences with personal branding 06:00    Branding in digital workspaces vs face to face workspaces 11:45     The balance of getting involved and not burning out 14:20     Most important aspects of building a personal brand 16:50     Connecting purpose to consistency and motivation 19:30     Our core Imposter Types when building a personal brand 26:15     What to expect in the next episode Resources Vanetta on Emotional Wealth Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. Episode 4: What are the 4 key skills of a coachpreneur? And where do imposter feelings show up in each?

In Episode 4 of the Imposter-Free Podcast, we start a conversation about the 4 key skills of a coachpreneur and how Imposter Syndrome and Imposter feelings feed into them. “Leadership for me always came from a position of serving - ‘how can we help other people make their lives better?’ . ” Vanetta “Somebody out there is like ‘oh, I’m not a leader’. And I’m like ‘sorry to break it to you’” Natisha “If I can master myself, if I’m aware of my own emotions, that’s already a step towards leadership… Even if you don’t have positional leadership, you can still be a leader” Vanetta “It wasn’t always the people who had the position who had the power” Natisha “For me, one of my first priorities [as a leader] is to make people feel safe.   I can go and read what I don't know later, but that connection with people comes first” Vanetta “I have made it a safe space for other people to learn - a safe space to learn” Natisha “Leading through vulnerability” Vanetta Episode Sections 0:00     Welcome & Previous Episode Recap 01:20    Focus of today’s episode 01:35    Natisha’s journey with identifying as a coach 03:35    Introducing the 4 key skills 04:45    Key Skill 1: Leadership - our experiences with and definitions of this skill 08:40    Positional vs Personal Leadership 11:30    Shout out to Introverted Leaders 13:35    Our experiences with Emotional Intelligence, Emotional Abuse  and Leadership 20:30    Our core Imposter Types when establishing leadership 23:58    What to expect in the next episode Resources Emotional Intelligence Grid Article on Emotional Intelligence being key to success Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. Episode 3: What is a coachpreneur/coachpreneurship?

Episode 3: What is a coachpreneur/coachpreneurSHIP? In Episode 3 of the Imposter-Free Podcast, we define some of our key terms, like coachpreneurship, coaching, consulting, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, as well as explore our experiences with them. “Transitioning to entrepreneurship in the beginning just felt like a new planet. Everything just seemed so different. Now, I recognise some of the things I was doing as a manager, perfectly fit into running my own business” Vanetta “All the resources are coming from me, they’re no longer tied to my 9-5 employer. I am my 9-5 employer now” Vanetta “I’ve been the best coach when I’m employed.” Natisha “Well I want to start a coaching company. Let me work for a coaching company.” Natisha “The coaching industry creates Imposter Syndrome in some ways. Episode 2 - What in the world is Imposter Freedom?

In Episode 2 of the Imposter Free Podcast, we discuss what Imposter Freedom looks like, the downsides and how we know when we're imposter free. Impostor Freedom is “the idea of no longer being held hostage. No longer overworking. No longer afraid or cautious around asking for help - that’s actually now my go to. No longer forcing myself to be the smartest person in the room. Feeling free to ask questions and make mistakes. No longer expecting every move I make to be perfect” Natisha “The goal is not to be imposter free...being 100% free is unrealistic. [The goal is] allowing room for the gradual growth and movement towards recognising the feelings in a shorter time frame and then doing something different” Natisha “People are so used to struggle, they just keep struggling” Natisha “One of the biggest myths is that Imposter Freedom is a goal, not a process. How can you consider yourself free, if you can’t even consider yourself successful” Natisha “You're free before you know that you’re free. Same way you are successful, before you know you are successful.” Natisha “Imposter Freedom really is being willing and able to be courageous” Vanetta Episode Sections 0:00     The History of our “Whassuupp” greeting 0:50     Previous Episode Recap 01:30    Defining Imposter Freedom 04:30   Recognising Imposter Freedom for me - Vanetta 06:13     Recognising Imposter Freedom for me - Natisha 10:35     Downsides of being Imposter free 15:00     What Imposter Freedom isn’t 17:00     The difference between being free and feeling free 18:40     Changing the definition of Imposter Freedom 20:20   Imposter Freedom and Courage 21:20    Episode recap and what to expect in the next episode Resources Vanetta’s Interrupt Your Impostor Type Workshops Natisha’s Freedom Practice / Imposter Workshops Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft. Episode 1 - What is Imposter Syndrome and how do you know you’re experiencing it?

In Episode 1 of the Imposter-Free Podcast, we define Imposter Syndrome and explain the different ways it can show up in our bodies and through Imposter Types. “Impostor Syndrome is an experience of inadequacy, incompetence and to a certain extent isolation… This experience tells you that your objective successes are not down to your abilities…,but they are due to luck. You start feeling like a fraud because you can’t actually internalise the achievements that you have” Vanetta “When you feel like you don’t belong, your brain recognises that as danger” Natisha “Imposter Syndrome is so much more than oh you feel like a fake” Natisha Episode Sections 0:00   Welcome  & Previous Episode Recap 01:04   Definition of Imposter Syndrome 01:45    How feeling like we belong and Imposter Syndrome go together 02:20  Physiological consequences of Imposter Syndrome and Trauma 05:00  How not belonging can trigger our survival instincts 06:40  Correlation of Imposter Syndrome and mental illnesses 07:49   How Imposter Syndrome showed up in Vanetta’s journey 10:20    How Imposter Syndrome showed up in Natisha’s journey 13:55     Imposter Types and how they show up in our lives 15:00   The burden of The Superwoman Imposter Type for POC 17:00    The Expert Imposter Type and our connections with it 20:00   Natisha’s work on Imposter Freedom in and outside of work 21:50   What to expect in the next episode Resources Vanetta’s Radio Interview on Imposter Syndrome Vanetta’s Imposter Type Quiz Connect with us Podcast Website: https://imposterfreepodcast.com/ Podcast IG: @imposterfreepodcast Podcast Anchor: https://anchor.fm/imposterfreepodcast Natisha IG: @coachtish Vanetta IG: @the.blueprint.way Attribution Song: Cartoon x Time To Talk - Omen (Ft.
