Overall, Apple News Today is a well-structured and professionally produced podcast. It has become a staple of my morning routine, as I regularly listen to number of news outlets, in an attempt to broaden my perspective on the reality of current world events. While the podcast covers a wide range of topics, I believe it’s worth noting that its tone leans moderately left. The information presented is not overtly biased or extreme, but there is a noticeable agenda that listeners should be aware of. This isn’t necessarily a drawback, as I believe, all news outlets have their own unique, perspectives and biases, but it’s important for audiences to understand the context and framing of the news they consume. One area for improvement lies in the balance between fact and opinion. Statements of fact are often followed by speculative commentary or opinions from the producers, with little evidence or alternative perspectives to create a more well-rounded analysis. This approach can sometimes leave the listener with an incomplete understanding of the issue at hand. Despite these critiques, the podcast remains a valuable and engaging source of information. For those seeking a concise and polished overview of current events, Apple News Today delivers—just keep in mind the editorial slant when forming your own conclusions.

This podcast does a great job of giving an overview of the issues. It makes it that much easier to get oriented at the start of the day.

Wish a more balanced reporting of the evils continually committed by Hamas and Hezbollah against its own population and innocent Israeli civilians were presented. You seem to glorify Palestinian violence, and reported the death of the murderous Nasrallah, who had blood of many Americans, Israeli and Palestinian civilians on his corrupt hands, you reported his funeral in exhausted and admiring terms, as if he’s a hero. That’s very disappointing.

The team at ANT does a great job covering current events and also adds interesting topics you don’t hear from other sources. There’s little to no political bias in the writing or presentation of stories which is important to me.
