Waffle Poddy - A Severance Podcast

It’s a good podcast, but to review a podcast I wish they would pay attention to the pronunciation of the characters names. They say Cobel with an emphasis on the Co, like Cobalt. But her name is pronounced like Co-bell. The characters say her name multiple times on the show, why do the hosts of this podcast botch this so badly?…. 10 points deduction. Besides that, it’s good and I enjoyed all episodes equally.

I watch movies and shows they are watching just to listen to their discussions. I started listening to their GOT coverage what feels like a decade ago and I honestly won’t listen to coverage over a television show by anyone else. I also always appreciate their general disdain for religious characters due to their backgrounds with being Jahovah’ Witnesses.

How are you both still struggling with how to pronounce the word perpetuity after so many years of covering this show? It doesn’t make sense. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Pod is fine aside from that, I guess.

Poorly executed. There’s a lack of passion in this podcast - I feel bored because the hosts seem bored. They found a way to talk for 90 minutes and not discuss the show meaningfully. They call it a rewatch, but refuse to discuss the show through that lens - even in the “veteran” section. In an attempt to avoid spoilers they seem to be pretending they’ve not seen it before but fail to have a fun discussion from that perspective as well, likely because they have all the answers so they can’t feign the theorizing that a first time viewer might be feeling. They should have leaned into a spoiler-heavy podcast or found co-hosts that hadn’t yet seen it.
