As another reviewer said, this podcast is great if you are a steelheads fan. Half of the content is Idaho and the mountain division the other half is a mix of Avalanche and Stars heavy NHL talk backstory on the guest, the story of running into a player in Stockton really rarely anything but the passing reference to any Central, North or South teams unless they played Idaho recently. If you are going to be an ECHL podcast cover the ECHL. I don’t care about every roster move Idaho makes.

Be sure to listen and support this podcast. The banter between O’Brien and Hawkley is entertaining. The hockey breakdowns are informative for anyone with even a small interest in hockey. They are great about sharing all the latest info on the ahl and hockey in general.

The show has changed a lot under CC’s tenure and while it's still working some things out, it's a good blend of the ECHL and AHL coverage.

If you want a complete echl podcast, this is not for you, much like its predecessor the original sin bin podcast. This show has great content if you are a western conference team fan, specifically the steelheads. Just rename it and make it call “steelheads radio”. Eastern conference teams are totally forgotten on 90% of episodes.
