Jared and Matt are as the title suggests in the everyday work of Church Planting in very hard to reach places. If you are a church planter every episode will be relevant to you. These guys take Jesus very seriously but themselves not so seriously, exactly my style!

I randomly came across this podcast as I was looking for helpful advice and relevant topics as I prepare to church plant in about 2 years. Started to listen to this podcast and began to learn so much from Jared and Matt. First thing I did was rewatch Nacho Libre because they were cracking me up by playing soundboard snippets from the movie throughout their conversation! 😂 They address every topic you can think of that a church planter will face, and like great teachers, they help you have fun listening into the message. Truly informative and enjoyable, frequently laugh out loud, and always centered on Jesus and the call of the Great Commission. Thanks for spurring me on guys!

I have listened to the first four or five podcasts from this duo. This is an excellent podcast because these guys have done it. Planting a church is not all rosy, there are some really tough times. I particularly liked how their launch had over 100 people and I think the second had like 15. These guys speak from the areas of discouragement and also success. It is a worthy podcast for people planting churches and people attending a plant, because it is a different animal and it is not like the established church down the road and the pastor and his family are likely being beat up by many different elements and this podcast sheds some light on those struggles and also ways and means forward. I recommend it.

Have you ever read a book and thought, “Man, I should have already known this”? That’s how I feel every time I listen to this podcast. Every single bit of advice and every example they give is so helpful, and in so many ways they hold me accountable by calling out the wrong ways that I (and I’m sure many of us) think or do “church planting.” Excellent source to consider for encouragement and wisdom.
