Incensed! A Pokémon GO Podcast

Boys, good news. What? I’m writing a review of the podcast. You fellas, Mark, Ian, Milo, and occasional guest star CasualCoops, really make my Sunday mornings. Always look forward to listening to you during my grind sessions. I’m leaving a 5 star review even though I don’t often get shinies while listening to the show. I assume upon leaving this review, my shiny luck will increase. Will update this review based on the results. And on that underwhelming bombshell, see you in my next review. Heard these guys on the go cast podcast and they are hilarious. Great fun, a must listen for Pokémon fans.

I love this pod but I’m using this review as my opportunity to rant about the shadow raids updates/niantic incompetence: I know this is just one bone of many to pick with niantic, but I’m irritated that this “season of heroes” only has 10 days left, yet they didn’t let us collect these power gem things until today. Knowing that this yet another resource we’re gonna have to grind for the shadow raids. Despite having the extra balloons for the entire season!!! ALSO! I’m very skeptical of the purified gems mechanic because any time a game adds a new item/currency like this it’s typically to justify an added layer of inaccessibility. The gems would be cool if there wasn’t an “enraged” state to begin with (a state that effectively walls off single player play), not to mention that shadow raids would’ve been the PERFECT way to add a damage boost for PURIFIED POKÉMON instead — a feature that we already have in the game which is currently outdated/undesirable. Lastly: how dumb is it that the shadow mons caught have an IV floor of 6/6/6 and still have an ifrustration??? Just can’t stand their lack of foresight, hubris in assuming this justifies their neglect for the #hearusniantic outcry, and overall failed opportunity.
