THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE STORY YOU HAVE EVER HEARD
This story is the most incredible proof of a higher power in the universe. It is told absolutely beautifully. Stick with it till the final second of the final episode and tell me you didn’t wail 😭 Shout-out to the powerful messages about the critical need for abortion to be safe and accessible to all, fatherhood and the love a man should openly express toward his child, the complexity of identity, Jewish history and tradition, the need for harmony across different religions, the free-love movement of the 60s and how that shifted culture forward in such a significant way. Obviously you’ve never thought you wanted to know about the history of IVF becoming mainstream but, you do, and must.
Beautifully Done
Matt’s story is my story. Although not donor conceived, I found out at the age of 50 that my father was not my father… except he was and always will be. But he was not my biological father. I savored every single episode of this series. I laughed, I reflected, I cried driving down the road while listening…. felt all the things. Thank you, Matt. You and your mom, all members of your family allowing us to go on this journey with you is incredibly meaningful. 🩵
