This is the twenty-first episode of Six Table Stories. “Six Table Stories” are completely mythical, and all involve the people in a completely mythical small community known as Six Table. All the stories were written by James D. Fischer. Some of the stories began as short plays, some have been wrestled into reading shape from short stories. A few have been published, in small anthologies. Oral History: Donald Ray Hill

Donald Ray Hill became the first player in the history of Independence, KS Little League Baseball to hit an over-the-fence home run when he smashed a three-run blast on July 12, 1954, at Clark James Field. Don was honored in 2019, at the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center, joining their Baseball Hall of Fame. This is an interview with Don and his wife Vernie.
