I have listened to a few of Luam’s podcasts and she always delivers current topics discussed with industry professionals! I live that she includes people with different perspectives and outlooks but ultimately there is a common passion to work in the industry. A must to listen to if you are a dancer, choreographer, or any other artist in production!

I know these discussions are for artists in the industry but I have to say this has been very educational for me as a mother who is supporting my daughter who is starting out in her dance career. I seek knowledge for myself because I want to be aware and knowledgeable. This podcast brings that education to me and helps me have a better understanding of my daughter the artist. So I want to thank you for this podcast that is my insight into this world of dance. Loved this discussion!!! Many blessings to you. Sharon🙏🏾
Jessica Castro Heels Class Episode
01/08/2020
I respect Jessica Castro so much as a dancer and the roads and rights she’s paving a way for for all dancers. I’m a super super beginner in heels and started doing it to reclaim my sexiness and femininity and feel good performing. I want to learn technique and I want to become a better dancer, but there are very few beginner heels technique classes in New York. It’s upsetting as a dance lover to show up to a Jessica Castro intermediate class and hear that if I know Im not ready for that level I probably shouldn’t be there and then be told to take fundamentals when they’re not available. I just wish there were more intro and beginner classes available, but the best teachers teach fundamentals once in a while. Intermediate and advanced classes happen multiple times a day, so you take what you can get. Anyway, this was a great podcast. Maybe you’re just talking to the pros and not people who just love to dance but don’t plan to be professionals, but I wish there was more out there for people in this category.
