After spending time in and out of jail for burglaries and other petty crimes, he escalated. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, several hitchhikers and backpackers in New South Wales went missing. But when bodies started turning up in the Belanglo State Forrest, police determined they had a serial killer on their hands.

Episode 298: Grant, Gracie & Angie Solomon

Episode 298: Grant, Gracie & Angie Solomon

On the morning of July 20, 2020, Grant Solomon lost his life in what appeared to be a tragic accident, where he was reportedly struck by his own truck. According to Grant’s father, Aaron Solomon, the only confirmed witness to the incident, Grant was retrieving baseball equipment from the bed of his truck when the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into reverse, and pulled him into a rock filled ditch. Due to inconsistencies in Aaron's claims surrounding Grant's death, numerous red flags have been raised.

Episode 297: The Stanford Prison Experiment

Episode 297: The Stanford Prison Experiment

In 1971, Philip Zimbardo recruited participants to take on the roles of “prisoners” and “guards” to investigate the psychological effects of perceived power; Zimbardo's primary reason for conducting the experiment was to focus on the power of roles, rules, symbols, group identity and situational validation of behavior that generally would repulse ordinary individuals. But the experiment had to be terminated over a week earlier than expected due to how the participants began to act. Today, the findings of Zimbardo are debated, as is the methodology and ethical considerations of the actual experiment.

Easy listen

This is the first true crime podcast I’ve listened to. I loved watching crime shows growing and I watch Bailey Serian on YT, but wanted something I could listen to while driving or working. I listened to a couple episodes and really liked how casual the hosts talked to each other about the case, they would bring up alternative theories, and they told the story in a way I could track. I’ve gone back to the 1st episode and binge listened. I love how often they post, and that they update the listener on previous episodes. Sometimes I get tired of the amount of personal stories they add, or more like how much time they spend on it. Overall LOVE them!

Just starting up the podcast

I’m gonna be honest, I was iffy about listening to you guys but super glad I started listen to you guys. The last dozen I have listened to, you say things that I think in my head and agree with the things you say.

Disappointing and poorly made

I gave this podcast a try after seeing some of the creator’s true crime videos on TikTok. The quality and depth of the research is minimal and the commentary is incredibly bland and boring. The hosts don’t seem to put much thought behind what they say.
