Love the content, not the ads!

My biggest pet peeve with great podcasts is when they play the EXACT SAME advertisement 4-5 times per episode. Ads are abrupt and annoying even when there is variety, but hearing the same one over and over just kills me. Fix that, and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars!

Interesting, could be better

The transition between interviews per episode isn’t seamless. It would be more enjoyable to listen to if the actors who interacting with one another instead of individual segments. The zoom audio is also driving me nuts. This has Shondaland money, please invest more into this podcast. Especially because the podcast is a marketing tool??
Would be stronger with a different host

I really enjoy the conversations had on this podcast, but I find Gabi extremely difficult to listen to. She comes across as ingratiating — everything an actor says “blows her mind,” or she was “screaming at the TV” — and her extended “wow”s just aren’t fitting to the subject matter. There was thought put into choices made on this show, certainly, but Gabi reacts as though the actor has just shared the most profound thing to ever be said. I’m not here to listen to a superfan kiss up to everyone that worked on this show, and it takes time away from asking other interesting questions.
