The personal stories of the CSO musicians and their struggles and triumphs navigating the world of classical music is interwoven so beautifully with excellently curated excepts from CSO’s incredible recording catalog. John Hagstrom is a gifted interviewer, and the genuine regard he feels for his colleagues creates great chemistry and connection within each episode. A delight to experience and share with all that love music - thank you for creating this content for all to enjoy.

CSO interMISSION is an outstanding series, with very interesting “insider information” of what it is to play in one of the greatest orchestras in the world. John Hagstrom, the series’ articulate and engaging host, interacts with CSO musicians on a variety of pertinent topics. The programs are expertly curated, and include inspiring audio excerpts of the orchestra. As an educator, I see this series as not only interesting to the concert-going public, but also being quite valuable to aspiring young musicians.

Excellent....casual,informative,fun! The joy of hearing fabulous favorite fragments of the musicians and the personal stories behind them is a super treat to all of us missing the live performances due to the pandemic. John is superb host and shares many intimate moments with the members of the CSO. What a treat!
