How To Destroy Everything
This is the true story of Richard Jacobs – a narcissist who destroyed a childhood, a marriage, a family, and a community. He sued every sentient being on the face of the earth, got banned from restaurants, and inspired a support group composed solely of people he traumatized. He stole notary stamps, hacked emails, forged signatures… and won a U.S. Supreme Court case. He was also my dad. Join us each week as hosts Danny Jacobs and Darren Grodsky will shift between past and present to explore the lasting impact of Richard Jacobs. My Dad would have liked Richard

Thank you for the podcast and sharing what it’s like to have an overbearing, off putting, paranoid, mentally unstable father! While my dad did have the exact behaviors as Richard, mine would have admired his ideas. Your mother is very similar to mine - this podcast is super interesting and triggering! It’s hard to let people see behind the curtain- I hope your podcast helps others know they aren’t alone!
Love the show. Please lose the music!!

Great show. But the music is too loud underneath the dialogue! You don’t need music under a conversation. If you insist on having it, then please lower it way down in the mix. I can barely listen to it when you have loud music and people talking! Thank you
A podcast about a narcissist written by his in denial narcissist son

I don’t know where to start. The narrator is insufferable and is lacking perspective of his own similarities to his narcissistic father. He regularly undermines the feelings and points of view of his cohost and mother because their versions of the story do not match his personal point of view or recollection. He aims to find reasoning for everyone else’s behavior, while believing his own isn’t flawed. He seems to be unable to hold himself accountable for being dismissive of others, while simultaneously pointing the finger at others for not holding his dad accountable for his behavior and not better protecting him. On top of that, that narrative storytelling reenactments are just…bad. They add nothing to the story and are very cringe. Anyway, it’s a lot of bad storytelling about a narcissist from another narcissist who unsurprisingly doesn’t see himself as a narcissist…because he can’t due… to being a narcissist.
Insightful & Relatable

I loved the format, especially the interjected vignettes and interviews with Danny’s mother. This podcast gave me an aha moment in relation to my own life and why I subconsciously took the path forward in my own life. Good job and thank you!
