Interview for a Wizard

The Story line is good & has great potential, but Im having a real problem with the writer. Maybe if he had someone else read, used his background sounds and didn't say the full name of the store in every sentence...I could give more stars. Earlier reviews did say the beginning was tough so I'll chalk it up to that & keep listening...just know the beginning IS Rough.

I am a HP Uber fan! Is this really that much of a knock off? Is it worth checking out or is it a bust?

The author tries so hard to make his reading sound intense and dark that it comes off as a joke. It's painful to listen to, and the story wasn't that good, either. Some people say it gets better with time. But the poor reading is so distracting that I can't finish the second episode. I know writing and recording is hard, and I try to give new authors the benefit of the doubt. However, that only goes so far. Perhaps if someone were editing for him, and someone else read it, it might be worthwhile. But as it stands? No.
